亞航今日於2018吉隆坡時裝周展示10位東盟設計師的卓越才華。
參與時裝秀的設計師是歷屆亞航Runway Ready設計師選拔大賽 (AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 簡稱AARRDS)的選手,在結束比賽後就開始了他們的時裝設計的職業生涯。10位設計師一共展示了30套服裝,其中的服裝品牌包括 KAVA (汶萊)、KONG (柬埔寨)、Shella Merina Personal Designs (印尼)、Billy L’amour de Ma Vie (老撾)、phyn Studio (馬來西亞)、Glam Mabel (緬甸)、Paraluman by Bea Samson (菲律賓)、SILVU (新加坡)、Arataweekend (泰國)及Tu Bong (越南)。
AirAsia, the truly Asean airline celebrates ten Asean designers at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2018 today.
The fledgling designers, whose career in the fashion industry took off after their participation in AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search (AARRDS) competition, showcased over 30 looks from their fashion labels. The labels include KAVA (Brunei), KONG (Cambodia), Shella Merina Personal Designs (Indonesia), Billy L’amour de Ma Vie (Laos), phyn Studio (Malaysia), Glam Mabel (Myanmar), Paraluman by Bea Samson (Philippines), SILVU (Singapore), Arataweekend (Thailand) and Tu Bong (Vietnam).

設計師們今天在選拔賽經過多輪審判,評審針對其作品中的設計創意、原創性、一致性、是否符合東盟主題、實用性及舞臺展示潛力作出評論。選拔賽的評審團有亞航 (數碼化、轉型、企業服務) 副集團首席執行員 Aireen Omar、吉隆坡時裝周創辦人 Andrew Tan、FashionValet 行銷主管 Nadia Alisya、著名設計師F izi Woo、Female 雜誌主編楊美玲、海鷗集團董事經理兼設計師品牌 Infinence 的創始人陳景崗、名人造型師 Min Lun 及大馬名模 Tinie。
Founder of KL Fashion Week Andrew Tan said, “One of our most committed partners is none other than AirAsia. Their support has truly let the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week fly. For the past four years, the AirAsia team has worked tirelessly to send us to many different locations which I believe is a huge part of the reason that Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week has been able to strengthen its brand in many different countries in Asean.”
The aspiring designers went through extensive rounds of judging and were selected based on their design creativity, originality and consistency of their collection, adherence to the Asean theme, practicality as well as stage presentation potential. The panel of judges includes AirAsia Deputy Group CEO Digital, Transformation and Corporate Services Aireen Omar, Founder of KLFW Andrew Tan, FashionValet Head of Marketing Nadia Alisya, Established fashion designer Fizi Woo, Editor of Female Magazine Yang Mei Ling, Managing Director of Hai-O Group and Founder of Designer Brand Infinence Tan Keng Kang, Celebrity Stylist Min Luna, and Malaysia’s Top Model Tinie.
時裝秀其中的亮點是 Tran Thi Tu 的自創品牌 Tu Bong,她首次展示了 ‘幻想中的女人’ 系列,共16套服裝。來自越南的 Tran Thi Tu 是 2017 年亞航 Runway Ready 設計師選拔大賽的冠軍。她在短短一年內就已成功在越南的時尚圈打出名堂,還接受了越南 Harper’s Bazaar 及數個時尚電視節目的采訪。她也即將在 fashionvalet.com 上推出一個膠囊系列。
The highlight of the show was Tran Thi Tu’s ‘The Women of Illusion’, in which she debuted 16 looks from her label, Tu Bong. Hailed from Hanoi, Vietnam, Tran Thi Tu was the grand prize winner of AARRDS 2017. She has since successfully made her way into Vietnam’s fashion industry and was featured in Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam as well as various fashion programmes on national television. Her success continues as her upcoming Ready-to-Wear capsule collection is set to be sold on fashionvalet.com.
今年亞航Runway Ready設計師選拔大賽持續在馬來西亞進行。最終五強選手-來自檳城Equator學院的Kelly Lee Kah Shin、Raffles學院的Lau Zhong Xun、吉隆坡Esmod的Tan Win Shean、Fashion Academy的Daphne Lim Wen Sin及Saito大學學院的Kristopher Toon都在時裝秀上展示了他們的作品。
AARRDS continued in Malaysia this year where the top 5 finalists; Kelly Lee Kah Shin from Equator College Penang, Lau Zhong Xun from Raffles College, Tan Win Shean from Esmod Kuala Lumpur, Daphne Lim Wen Sin from Fashion Academy and Kristopher Toon from Saito University College each presented three fashion forward looks from their collection.
最終來自 Fashion Academy 的 Daphne Lim Wen Sin 奪下了 2018亞航 Runway Ready 設計師選拔大賽的冠軍,榮獲的獎項包括15萬亞航 BIG 積分、FashionValet 贊助的2萬5千令吉制作費用於發布在 fashionvalet.com 上銷售的膠囊系列、亞航機艙雜誌 Travel360 特輯專訪、華為全新的NOVA 3 I 3i 智能手機、KLFW 團隊的指導及能再次參展於吉隆坡時裝周 2019。
The AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search Grand Finale 2018 ended with a bang. Daphne Lim Wen Shin from from Fashion Academy was announced as the Grand Prize winner, taking home 150,000 AirAsia BIG Points; RM25,000 fund to produce a capsule collection to be sold on fashionvalet.com, a fashion spread in AirAsia’s inflight magazine, Travel360; Huawei all-new Nova 3 smartphone, mentorship from KLFW team, and a confirmed slot to showcase their full collection at KLFW 2019.
亞軍得主是來自Raffles學院的 Lau Zhong Xun,將獲得與 Infinence 品牌的合作合約及華為全新的 NOVA 3 I 3i 智能手機。
The second place went to Lau Zhong Xun from Raffles College, and won a contract to design a collection for the brand Infinence and a Huawei all-new Nova 3 smartphone.
季軍得主則是來自吉隆坡 Esmod 的 Tan Win Shean,將獲得與 Infinence 品牌的合作合約及華為全新的 NOVA 3 I 3i 智能手機。
Third place went to Tan Win Shean from Esmod Kuala Lumpur, and won a contract to design a collection for the brand Infinence and a Huawei all-new Nova 3 smartphone.
